Public · 18 holes · Par 72 · 6,512 yds · Est. 1899
Opened in 1899 and the third oldest golf course in Michigan. It started when Cora Henry, I. Newton Swift and Daniel L. Quirk Jr. invited friends to play a farmer's hayfield using tomato cans for holes — the club came a year later. Eighteen holes, par 72, 6,512 yards from the tips, and a traditional design that rewards accuracy over distance: narrow tree-lined fairways and quick, well-guarded undulating greens.
