About Treetops Resort
Treetops Resort — Masterpiece Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. as his final Michigan design and self-described crowning glory. Routed through natural valleys and ravines at the headwaters of the Pigeon River. The signature par-3 6th drops 120 feet from tee to green.
Treetops Resort — Premier Course (Fazio)
Michigan's only Tom Fazio design. Wide landing areas, rolling fairways, and bold bunkering balance challenge with playability. 4.5-star Golf Digest rating since opening.
Treetops Resort — Signature Course (Smith)
Rick Smith's first design at Treetops, drawing on Scottish and Irish golf influences. Undulating greens and wide, forgiving fairways. Ranked a Top 50 Course for Women.
Treetops Resort — Threetops (Par 3)
Rick Smith's nationally acclaimed 9-hole par-3 course. Hosted the ESPN Par-3 Shootout 1999-2006, where Lee Trevino made a million-dollar hole-in-one in 2001.
Treetops Resort — Tradition Course (Smith)
Rick Smith's walkable, links-style course featuring traditional wooden pins and pennant flags. Takes advantage of high ridges and hilltops. Two nine-hole loops allow for shorter rounds.
