About Richmond Forest Golf Course

Opened in June 1994 to a Bruce Matthews III design, about thirty miles north of Detroit. A 6,700-yard par 72 with eight holes running alongside one of seven ponds and nine more through beech, oak and maple woods, plus 46 bunkers placed with intent. Large bentgrass tees and wide fairways keep it playable at any level, and the drainage means it's often open when neighbouring courses aren't.
